How do I activate an NFC tag I bought from Taproo?

Go to taproo.com/activate and enter the activation code printed on your order confirmation, then choose the Taproo page the tag should open. The tag works immediately — no app and no re-writing required.

What do I do if I lose a tag?

Sign in and unlink the lost tag from its page so the old tag stops resolving, then activate a replacement against the same page. The step-by-step guide for replacing a lost tag is in the help centre.

Can I reuse a tag that was already activated?

Yes — deactivating a tag returns it to your account so you can point it at a different page. Nothing is physically re-written. Re-pointing between your own Taproo pages is unlimited on every plan; on Free, an external web address can be changed once, and Pro remove that limit.
