What is a branded QR code?

A branded QR code is a custom QR code styled with your brand colours and logo in the centre, instead of the default black-and-white grid. It still scans like any standard QR — the logo sits in the natural error-correction area, so phones read it without trouble.

Will adding a logo break the QR code?

No, as long as the QR is generated at error-correction level H (the Taproo default for branded QRs). Level H tolerates up to 30% damage or obstruction, which is more than enough headroom for a centred logo at 20–25% of the code's width.

Can I match the QR colour to my brand palette?

Yes. Pick any foreground colour that gives at least 40% contrast against the background — dark logo on a light background scans fastest. We avoid white-on-dark by default because some older phone cameras struggle with inverted QRs.

Can I change the destination after printing a branded QR?

Yes — use a Taproo dynamic QR. The printed code never changes, but you can re-target it from your dashboard whenever you need to update the link, swap a campaign or rotate a menu.
