Each tag carries a unique QR code and NFC chip linked to a hosted Luggage / Lost & Found page on your Taproo dashboard. If your bag goes missing, anyone who finds it can scan with any modern phone — no app needed — and instantly see your contact details, reward offer and a one-tap call or WhatsApp button.

What happens if I change my phone number or address?

Update it once in your Taproo dashboard and every tag — luggage, kit bag, laptop case — points to the new details immediately. Dynamic codes mean you never need to reprint or replace a tag when your details change.

Are my personal details safe on a luggage tag?

Yes. You choose exactly what's public. Most travellers show first name + phone or email only, with home address kept private. You can also enable a 'reward if returned' message and password-protect the page on Pro and Business plans.

Will the tags survive airline handling and rain?

Our luggage tags use waterproof PVC with a stainless-steel cable loop and an embedded NFC chip rated for 100,000+ scans. They're built for checked bags, hold cases and outdoor kit.

How many luggage tags can I create on the Free plan?

The Free plan includes 3 dynamic pages, all 12 page types (including the dedicated Luggage tag) and 500 scans per month — enough for a small family of travellers. Upgrade to Pro (£9/mo) for 50 pages and 25,000 scans.

You choose what's public and you can update your details any time without reprinting the tag.
