How Taproo works
Taproo is a UK NFC and QR platform that connects physical products to useful digital experiences. A tap or a scan opens a page you control, and you can change that page later without replacing the card, sticker or stand.
The upcoming range is built for businesses that want simpler ways to collect Google reviews, share contact and social details with a digital business card or a WhatsApp tap, connect guests to Wi-Fi and open a digital menu. Everything already in stock is in the Taproo shop.

What can Taproo NFC products link to?
- Each tag or card points at a web destination you control — a hosted Taproo page such as a digital business card, Wi-Fi login, digital menu, event page or lost-and-found page, or your own link like a Google review page or Instagram profile. Because the destination is editable, the same physical product can be re-pointed later without reprinting it.
Do customers need an app to use Taproo NFC products?
- No Taproo app is needed. On most recent iPhone and Android handsets, holding the phone near the tag opens the linked page in the normal browser, and every Taproo product can also carry a QR code as a fallback. Older or NFC-disabled phones may need the QR code instead.
Can I use Taproo NFC products for Google reviews?
- Yes. A review tap card, plate, stand or sticker can send customers straight to your Google review link, and Taproo already sells review tags and cards in the shop today. Taproo is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
When will these new Taproo products be available?
- The range is still in development, so there is no confirmed release date. You can register interest against any item on this page and we will email you when it becomes available.
