How to build a Taproo page

Five minutes, no app and no card details. Every page works with a QR code, an NFC tag, or both.

  1. 1

    Pick a page template

Choose the page type that matches what you're sharing — digital business card, menu, Wi-Fi, Emergency ID (ICE), luggage tag, review link and more. Every template is editable afterwards.

  2. 2

    Add your content

Fill in your details in the Taproo editor: name and role, links, photos, menu items or emergency contacts. Changes save instantly and go live on your page URL.

  3. 3

Get your QR code or link

Every page comes with a permanent short URL and a downloadable QR code you can print, email or add to a slide. Free on every plan, no card details needed.

  4. 4

Tap it to an NFC tag (optional)

Order a Taproo NFC card, keychain, sticker or luggage tag and link it to the page at taproo.com/activate. Tapping the tag on any modern phone opens the page — no app required.

  5. 5

    Edit any time without reprinting

Update the page whenever details change. Every QR already printed and every NFC tag already handed out points at the new content automatically.

Got a tag already? Activate it here or read the step-by-step activation guide.

Template questions

What is a Taproo page template?

A template is a ready-made layout for the page your QR code or NFC tag opens — for example a digital business card, an emergency ID (ICE) profile, a pet tag, a luggage tag or a Wi-Fi card. You pick one, fill in your details, and the page is live immediately.

How many pages can I create on the free plan?

The free plan includes one vCard plus one additional page, with 500 scans a month and 10 static QR codes in total. Paid plans raise those limits — the current allowances for each tier are listed on the pricing page.

Can I change the template after my page is live?

Yes. Switching template keeps the same link, so any tag or printed QR code you've already handed out continues to work and simply shows the new design.

Do I need a separate tag for each page?

No. One tag points at one page at a time, but you can repoint it to a different page whenever you like from your dashboard, and one page can be opened by as many tags and QR codes as you want.
