Does Taproo gate reviews by star rating?

No. Google prohibits review gating — filtering customers so only happy ones can review you. Taproo always shows the public review link to every visitor, whatever they rate. The optional private feedback form is offered in addition, never instead.

Do customers need an app to use an NFC review card?

No. Compatible NFC phones can read the card natively and open the destination in the browser.

Does it work for trades who visit customers?

Yes. A compact NFC review card can be handed to the customer to tap when the job is finished.

Can customers go straight to Google to leave a review?

Yes. Set the NFC product's destination to your direct Google review link and customers can tap to open Google directly, without going through a Taproo rating or feedback page.
