Will it open the WhatsApp app directly?

Yes. On phones with WhatsApp installed it opens the chat in-app with your pre-filled message ready to send. Otherwise it falls back to WhatsApp Web.

Can I change the number later?

Yes — that's the point of a dynamic QR. Update the destination in your Taproo dashboard and the next tap goes to the new number. No reprints.

Does it work with WhatsApp Business?

Yes. Add your WhatsApp Business number the same way; the chat opens in the WhatsApp Business app on phones that have it installed.

Can I track how many people messaged me?

We track every scan/tap with timestamp and rough location. WhatsApp itself doesn't expose whether the chat was sent, but tap-through rate is a strong proxy.
