The seven checks, in order

1. Is the link editable after printing?

A card that encodes your name and number directly is frozen at the moment it is written. A card that stores a short dynamic URL can be re-pointed for the life of the card. Ask specifically whether the destination can be changed without re-encoding the card.

2. Does it keep working without a subscription?

3. Does it ship ready to tap?

How to test a card before ordering a batch
